Yummy breakfast rolls

To super prosty przepis na cudowne, pachnące bułeczki. Możecie dodac do nich różne pestki: słonecznika, dyni oraz mak, sezam, suszoną żurawinę. Ja lubię eksperymentowac z różnymi mąkami i ich proporcjami. Oryginalny przepis znajdziecie tu. Smacznego!

1 kubek* mąki orkiszowej lub żytniej z pełnego przemiału
* ja używam dużej szklanki o poj. 0,5 l - wychodzi z tego ok. 12 bułeczek
2 kubki mąki pszennej
1 płaska łyżka soli
1 łyżka oliwy z oliwek
1 łyżka cukru
1/3 kostki drożdży (ok. 3 dag)
1 kubek ciepłej wody
opcjonalnie dodatki: pestki, suszone owoce itp.

Do wody dodajcie drozdże, cukier i oliwę, wymieszac i odstawic na 10 min. Do dużej miski wlejcie zaczyn drozdżowy i dodajcie mąki oraz sól. Wszystko wymieszajcie łyżką aż składniki połączą się w luzne ciasto. Teraz, jeśli chcecie, możecie wsypac ulubione dodatki. Dalej wyrabiajcie ciasto rękami ok. 3 min. Uformujcie bułeczki - z porcji ciasta zróbcie cos na kształt grubego placuszka, a potem jego brzegi zawińcie do środka i dłońmi uformujcie kulkę. Układajcie na blasze, a kiedy ja zapełnicie natnijcie wierzch bułeczek na krzyż i posmarujcie je oliwą, żeby nie wyschły. Nagrzejcie piekarnik do 200 stopni/termoobieg. Odczekajcie ok. 30 min. aż bułeczki porządnie urosną, zmniejszcie temperaturę w piekarniku do 180 stopni i wstawcie bułeczki na 20 min.

Ja lubię je jeśc jeszcze ciepłe posmarowane dobrym masłem, a mój syn po prostu wpycha je sobie do dzioba w całości:)

This is a super easy recipe and the rolls turn out lovely and smell amazing. You can add different goodies: sunflower, poppy, pumpkin or sesame seeds, dried cranberries etc. I also experiment with different flour proportions to see what works best. You can find the original recipe here, alas only in Polish. Enjoy!

1 large glass* of wholegrain rye or spelt flour
* I use a large o,5 litre glass to make approx. 12 rolls
2 glasses of plain white flour
1 T salt
1 T olive oil
1 T sugar
 30 g fresh yeast
1 glass of warm water
extras (optional): seeds, cranberries etc.

Mix water, yeast, sugar and olive oil and set aside for 10 min. Pour the yeast mixture into a large bowl, add the flours and salt and mix with a spoon until a loose dough forms. Now is the time to ad the seeds and dried fruit . Knead the dough with your hands for approx. 3 min. until you have a firm ball of dough. Tear away chunks of dough, make thick discs, then fold the rim of the disc to the center and form a roll. Place the rolls on a baking tray, cut crossways on top and brush with some olive oil. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C/fan. Allow the rolls to rise for approx. 30 min. Than turn the temperature down to 180 degrees and bake the rolls for 20 minutes.

I like to eat them still warm with nice creamy butter, my son usually just grabs one and tucks in:)
